Ingram Micro UK gets a SkyKick out of cloud
Distribution giant adds migration vendor to its UK cloud portfolio
Ingram Micro has continued to expand its UK cloud portfolio with the addition of migration specialist SkyKick.
The pair have been working together in the US for the past six months and saw the expansion of the partnership in the UK as the next logical move.
Both firms claim SkyKick's Migration Suite enables IT consultants, system integrators, MSPs and VARs to automate the entire Office 365 migration project and reduce cost while accelerating deployment.
Apay Obang-Oyway, general manager of Ingram Micro Cloud, said: "Migrating a customer from a hosted or on-premise environment to one that is cloud-based can be a major undertaking for channel partners for the simple reason that it takes time, expertise and resources.
"SkyKick will help our partners by simplifying this entire process while providing the opportunity to deliver great value by reducing the time, risk and complexity of migration projects," he said.
Eric Jewett, international vice president at SkyKick, said: "We're excited to enter the UK, one of the world's biggest Office 25 markets, with Ingram Micro. In just over half a year working with Ingram in the US, the SkyKick Migration Suite has helped many partners accelerate their Office 365 deployments. We look forward to replicating this success in the UK."
