One million visit Printerbase on YouTube
Reseller printer marketing videos attract plenty of site visitors in five years
Greater Manchester reseller Printerbase is celebrating having attracted one million visits to its YouTube channel.
Peter Knight, founder and managing director of Printerbase, noted that the channel was set up in 2010 as a resource for advice on its printer models including reviews and information on all aspects of printing.
"I've stressed to the team to get across the personal message, to show the customers that we are real people, to convey our knowledge and express our passion in the videos," he said.
"As well as talking about the printers' features and specs, we also give help and advice on how to use the features and applications in addition to instructions on how to print on the device."
The aim was to make its videos as helpful as possible. Viewings have been received from around the world.
The YouTube channel hosts unboxing, overview and review videos with the aim of developing a "well-rounded" view of each machine, including tips on how to get the most from a printer.
