Fujitsu teams up with Exertis on channel assembly programme

Distie now offers the full range of Fujitsu's PC, notebooks, tablets, server and storage solutions

Fujitsu has signed up Exertis to manage its channel assembly programme for its ETERNUS family of disk storage solutions.

Exertis now offers its reseller partners the full range of Fujitsu's PC, notebooks, tablets, server and storage solutions.

Fujitsu said it picked the distie for its expertise in configuration, distribution and logistics as well as its ability to order and deliver quickly.

Gareth Bray, Exertis' servers and storage general manager said: "We are excited to partner with Fujitsu on this new venture as we are always keen to offer more flexibility and new services to our reseller partners to ensure their growth and profitability.

"Initiatives like this allow resellers to execute faster and invoice quicker, while their end users get to benefit from a faster-time-to value," he added.

Resellers can now benefit from configuration and pricing flexibility, Fujitsu claims.

The agreement comes after Exertis singed up automated device enablement vendor Cloudpath Networks earlier this month.
