Unify nets 12-month contract win with MK Dons

Network aggregator Genius Networks will be providing connectivity

Comms vendor Unify has been awarded a contract with Milton Keynes Dons Football Club to deliver OpenScape Cloud Contact Centre via network aggregator Genius Networks.

The 12-month contract, for an undisclosed amount, will see Unify provide MK Dons with OpenScape Cloud Contact Centre technology to help the club provide match-day support to its fans and help agents deal with increased call volumes.

Genius Networks will provide connectivity and deliver QoS for delivery of voice and cloud applications.

Trevor Connell, general manager of East and West regions at Unify, said: "Unify's OpenScape Cloud Contact Centre is perfectly positioned to help MK Dons deliver excellence in customer service to its fans.

"This is especially true for match days, when MK Dons requires a communication solution that is able to scale to help cope with the demands of increased call volumes – something that the SaaS-based Unify product does with ease," he added.

James Arnold-Roberts, director of Genius Networks, said: "To be providing connectivity solutions for MK Dons via Unify is really exciting. Unify selected Genius as connectivity partner for the hosted contact centre feature in its enterprise unified communications (UC) platform, Openscape, based on our ability and commitment to ensure the reliability and resilience required by customers."
