Neal Lillywhite handed Websense's UK reins

Former Integralis man pops back up at web filtering vendor

Neal Lillywhite has been handed the reins of Websense's UK business following the departure of predecessor Atif Ahmed.

Lillywhite (pictured), who left NTT Com Security (formerly Integralis) last summer, has confirmed his new job as area vice president of the security vendor on his Linked In profile.

Meanwhile, predecessor Ahmed appears to have begun work at virtualisation vendor Appsense, in line with rumours at the time his departure was announced internally.

At the time, Lillywhite was one of several candidates linked with the top job.

Before NTT Com Security, Lillywhite worked for a string of security vendors, including Crossbeam and Nokia.

Lillywhite's arrival comes eight months after web filtering specialist Websense agreed to be taken over by private equity house Vista Equity Partners, a move that has since seen the vendor's support moved from San Diego to Texas.

Websense declined to comment.
