Balreed expands revenue 34 per cent to £38m

Imaging and documentation services provider rises in year to December 2014

Maidstone, Kent-headquartered print services specialist Balreed has grown annual revenues by 34 per cent or £9.3m to hit £38m in 2014.

Robin Stanton-Gleaves, proprietor and group managing director of Balreed, said all the growth was organic this year.

"Thirty-four per cent growth is an outstanding performance, particularly on top of the 23 per cent we achieved in 2013," he said.

"Our sales operations secured many significant new client wins in 2014 across many market sectors, and I think we are now recognised for delivering a unique quality of managed service to our clients."

Stanton-Gleaves said revenues had expanded across its production print business including support, remote services and managed services while margins had also improved, allowing the company to add 60 staff and revamp its facilities.

Managed print services and production print systems are both enjoying rising demand, he indicated.
