Annodata enlists new finance boss ahead of 'very busy year'
Joe Kelly joins the firm from channel services player 5i
Annodata has appointed Joe Kelly as its new group finance director as the VAR seeks to further consolidate its market position and looks for more acquisitions in 2015.
Kelly (pictured) joins Annodata from 5i, a channel services company, and will be replacing Suki Purewal who is set to become the firm's new commercial director.
Kelly commented: "2015 is shaping up to be a very busy year as we look to make a number of strategically important acquisitions and bed in those acquisitions already made.
"As Annodata embarks on the next chapter of its history, I look forward to using my experience to capitalise on the advances already made and help to drive the business forward," he said.
Annodata was founded as an office equipment dealer 26 years ago, but has since expanded into other areas including telecoms, mobile and IT. The Hertfordshire-based firm has annual aggregate revenues close to £80m and is hoping to achieve a turnover of £100m by 2016.
Following the firm's acquisition of IT infrastructure provider Keltec in November, Annodata's managing director Andrew Harman told CRN that if the firm were to acquire any new companies, they may be in the software or IT services field or have skill sets in the cloud.
Martin St Quinton, chairman of Annodata, commented: "Joe joins the company during a period of intense growth and rapid change, as we seek to diversify our product offering and strengthen our nationwide footprint."
Quinton previously led numerous acquisitions at communications integrator Azzurri.
"Annodata has major growth ambitions and to achieve them it's important that we have a strong senior management team in place," he said.
