Jabra unveils four new senior appointments
Firm targets a 30 per cent increase in staff over the coming months
Jabra has announced four new senior recruits to its sales and marketing teams, as the headset vendor pushes ahead with its target of increasing headcount by 30 per cent over the next few months.
The firm has appointed Steven Whitehead (pictured), previously at InterCall, as its new corporate sales director, who will be in charge of Jabra's High Touch and local Global Account business within the UK.
Jabra has also appointed Rick Wallis, who recently joined from Brother, as its new business development manager for its SI channel, and promoted Fahad Quadri to the role of internal sales leader.
The firm has also appointed Barbara Serre as its new channel marketing executive for the UK and Ireland.
Nigel Dunn, managing director at Jabra, said: "We are delighted to welcome all four of our new appointments to Jabra.
"They will all have a partner or customer remit that will allow us to provide increased support to existing channel relationships or fulfil our 2015 objective of acquiring new partners and winning new logos in order to further increase our market share," he commented.
Dunn told CRN last week that Jabra is looking to grow headcount by 30 per cent over the coming months and is in talks to move out of its Egham office to a new location.
In October Jabra launched a new channel incentive programme, and 40 resellers have already taken advantage of the scheme, according to Dunn.
