Azlan partners with big data vendor Lakeside Software

The distributor hopes to bring on board enterprise VARs

Azlan has today announced it has signed up another vendor, with an agreement to distribute the products of big data specialist Lakeside Software.

Lakeside Software provides big-data analytics for end-user computing and offers its SysTrack portfolio to help with the analysis of big data.

Sarah Deller, business unit director for software at Azlan, said Lakeside offers a good opportunity for enterprise VARs as the virtual desktop infrastructure market continues to thrive.

"Desktop transformation is one of the most exciting areas of the market right now," she said. "Lakeside's SysTrack tools present resellers with the opportunity to offer in-depth analytics of end-user compute infrastructure for pre-deployment assessments and troubleshooting of user experience issues.

"For Azlan, Lakeside is a valuable and prestigious addition to our enterprise VDI portfolio. It strengthens our ability to help partners maximise the potential of every desktop transformation project and deliver successful results for their end-user customers."

The distributor, which is the enterprise division of Tech Data, is looking to recruit resellers with some experience in desktop transformation for the Lakeside Partner Programme.
