VAR IML eyes £10m sales
Midlands-based reseller hoping to augment its growth with acquisitions in the coming year
VAR IML Technology is hoping to break the £10m revenue mark in 2015, as it opens its third office in Milton Keynes to accommodate its continued growth.
The Midlands-based reseller was founded in 2008 and turned over £6m last year, but it is hoping to almost double that by the end of 2015.
IML has offices in Birmingham and Nottingham, and last month opened a new branch in Milton Keynes (pictured).
The reseller sees much of its revenue come from its education clients, and it recently signed up to Fujitsu's Education Ambassadors Programme to provide Derby College with Fujitsu workstations.
Paolo Rodia, IT services manager at IML, said: "We really want to grow within our managed services and the cloud, that's where we see the recurring revenue coming from."
He added that he wanted the firm, which employs about 80 staff, to push its revenues past £10m by next January and said IML will look to open a London office if the Milton Keynes branch proves to be a success.
Rodia indicated that IML is also looking for its first acquisition within the next 12 months.
"The areas we are looking at are boutique VARs – definitely one, maybe two – and we are looking to bolster our cloud solution and network infrastructure," he said.
The firm, which is part of Intec Microsystems Ltd, is partnered with VMware, Citrix and ShoreTel.
