JMC IT targets £12m turnover

Salford VAR claims it has enjoyed flying start to fiscal 2015

Reseller and support services firm JMC IT claims it is on course for a record £12m revenue haul after enjoying a strong start to its fiscal 2015.

The Salford-based company says it has hauled in an additional £1m in revenues from its SupportCare service since the start of its financial year, on top of new contract wins with the likes of telecoms provider Chess Telecom, hospitality group Northcote and NGO Mines Advisory Group.

JMC's sales have been slowly recovering since the recession knocked its turnover from a high of £10m to below £8m.

The Microsoft, Dell, Citrix and Cisco partner claims its strong start to fiscal 2015 means it is on course to top last year's revenue tally of £11m.

Contract revenue retention is currently running at 93 pence per £1, which JMC claimed was among the highest in the industry.

Headcount stands at 101 but further recruitment is being "actively pursued", JMC managing director Andrew Burgess said.

"It's been a fantastic six months for us, with our record financial performance and client satisfaction coming as a direct result of JMC's investment in people and technology," Burgess said.

"We're clearly striking a chord with the market and the ever-increasing demand for our services means that we can see many more opportunities for continuing growth and further successful client relationships going forward."
