Zollo nabs EMEA role at Gigamon
Dell SonicWall veteran heads for pastures new to spearhead Gigamon's European growth strategy
Andy Zollo has swapped one EMEA role for another after switching alliegiance to traffic visibility specialist Gigamon.
Zollo (pictured) had spent the last 13 years at SonicWall, which became the security division of Dell after it was acquired by the vendor in 2012, most recently as EMEA vice president of the division.
His new role as EMEA vice president of Gigamon will see him oversee all operations in the region, and spearhead a coordinated sales, channel, technical and marketing team to swiftly grow the business.
Helmut Wilke, senior vice president of worldwide sales at Gigamon, said: "Andy brings broad pan-European experience to Gigamon, fully understands the sales channel and has worked with major customers throughout EMEA. We have high expectations for future growth in EMEA and are fully confident that Andy’s leadership will help us to achieve those goals.”
Zollo added: “Gigamon’s commitment and investment in EMEA and its channel is representative of a company poised for rapid progress and advancement,” said Zollo. "I look forward to growing with our partners in this thriving market.”
