Exclusive Networks poaches Aerohive marketing chief

Exclusive appoints Hadas Hughes as director of marcomms and programmes

Exclusive Networks has pinched marketing veteran Hadas Hughes from its vendor partner Aerohive Networks to be its director of marcomms and programmes.

In her new position, Hughes (pictured) will co-ordinate all the marketing activity for the Exclusive Networks Group, and deliver propositions for Exclusive Networks, Big Technology, Exclusive Capital and ITEC.

Hughes joins the pan-European distributor from Aerohive where she was international marketing channel manager for three years. She has almost 20 years' experience in marketing.

Barrie Desmond, chief operating officer at Exclusive Networks, said: "Hadas is a highly motivated, proven operator who will work closely with all our marketing teams in more than 30 offices around the world.

"As well as underpinning much of the great marketing work we do alongside our vendor and reseller partners, her skills will be put to good work communicating the Exclusive Group value-added services propositions, and explaining to the world how we are truly disrupting distribution in an ever-evolving market."

Hughes said her experience working with Exclusive at Aerohive will stand her in good stead now she is a staff member.

"Having seen how Exclusive works up close for many years, it's very exciting to get the opportunity now to join the team and make my mark on the next important stage of the company's development," she said.

"Exclusive was already so different from the rest of the VAD market and with extra comprehensive services capabilities in 100 countries we keep on adding more value and growing more business opportunity."

News of the appointment comes after it was reported last week that Exclusive Networks has entered into talks with Belgian investment firm Cobepa.
