Arrow's Steve Pearce to step down

Pearce to head towards the exit after nine-year stint at distie

Arrow ECS' long-serving senior exec Steve Pearce is stepping down from his role, CRN has learned.

Sources close to the matter have confirmed the channel veteran is retiring from his position at Arrow after nine years at the company. CRN understands he is leaving the firm tomorrow.

In 2013, Pearce moved up from his role as UK vice president and country manager at Arrow to the position of vice president of business innovation for EMEA.

He was previously chief operating officer for more than eight years at InTechnology's managed services division, before the distie was bought by Arrow in 2006.

Prior to that he was sales director for ISP Planet Online and at other technology companies including US vendor Digital Equipment Corporation and UK-based software and systems group Radius.

In total, Pearce (pictured) has 31 years' experience in the IT industry from a range of positions in sales, sales management and board directorships in the UK, US and Europe.

Arrow was not able to provide CRN with a comment.
