XMA bags place on £200m public sector framework
Six suppliers awarded place on Office Supplies for the Wider Public Sector framework
Nottingham-based VAR XMA is among the suppliers to have made it onto a public sector office supplies framework that could be worth £200m over the next four years.
The framework - dubbed Office Supplies for the Wider Public Sector - was awarded by the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) this month and was the subject of 12 bids.
The CCS awarded the contract to six suppliers: Banner Business Services; ACS; Commercial Ltd; Office Depot UK Ltd; Officeteam Ltd; and XMA.
According to the contract award notice, the framework will be for a range of office equipment, including office and computing machinery, stationery and printers.
The framework will be available for a variety of public sector bodies, such as local authorities, police forces and schools and universities.
News that VAR XMA made it onto the framework comes after it secured a place on a universities framework for office supplies last summer, which reportedly worth upwards of £60m.
