Exertis gets even closer to Ricoh

Distributor secures rights to global delivery of vendor's AV and print offerings

Following a fruitful 12-month partnership with Ricoh, Exertis has strengthened its strategic partnership with the vendor to supply its AV and print solutions globally.

The distributor claims the partnership complements and enhances the offerings already on its books, and will enable its resellers and partners to offer a broader range of products to their customers.

Products covered in the deal include the SP 4510DN printer, the SP 4510SF MFP, the SP C252SF wireless MFP, the SG 3110SFNw GelJet MFP and the PJ WX4240N ultra-short throw projector.

Steven Hastings, IT distribution channel director at Ricoh, said: "While Ricoh is the fastest-growing printer manufacturer across the UK and Europe, Exertis is one of the fastest-growing technology distribution companies in Europe, making for an ideal business partnership. Our existing relationship with Exertis has enabled us to reach new audiences and further strengthen our business in retail, SME/SMB and the public sector and so we look forward to this natural evolution of our relationship."

Jamie Brothwell, print business general manager at Exertis, added: "Having worked with Ricoh in the retail sector for the past 12 months, it was a natural progression to expand our offering with the B2B product range. We were blown away by the breadth of Ricoh’s IT services and complementary products, in addition to their ever-growing printer range, and after being highly impressed by the drive and ambition of the brand, we felt it a great fit."
