Empowered unveils new channel services brand Vantage
Vantage will focus on partners in the enterprise and multinational space
Channel services player Empowered has launched a new services brand called Vantage, as it ploughs on with its mission to become the number one player in its space.
Speaking to CRN, co-founder of Empowered Darren Liles said the new brand was launched following requests from partners to help them to drive more business and win more contracts.
"We were seeing more and more desire from our customers [partners] to help them grow their business with strategic business consulting and technology-led consulting activities that would enable them to bid for more customer projects and also enhance and deliver more effectively on some of the projects they already have," Liles said.
He added that Vantage will differentiate from Empowered in its focus on partners which are based in the large enterprise and multinational space, whereas Empowered's partners have a range of focus from the SME to the enterprise.
Another distinguishing feature of the two brands will be Vantage's focus on delivering business strategy.
"Vantage will be focused on leading relationships and helping them [the partner] grow in line with their business strategy, maybe helping them define their business strategy and also providing them with the technical excellence that sits behind that.
"[While] Empowered as an organisation is very much [based] around delivering projects and services to help fulfil and enable the partner to scale."
Although the brands are separate, they will both be part of the Empowered Group and will be complementary to each other and will share partners.
Vantage will look to bring on board enterprise-focused systems integrators and service providers, although Liles would not give a specific number.
He said the launch of Vantage will help Empowered become the industry leader in channel services.
"We want to be seen – not just with Vantage but with the whole Empowered business – as the number one IT services group to the channel," he said.
"This launch focuses at the higher end of the market where there are much larger needs and opportunities to deliver a whole street of IT services so Vantage's focus, and the people who are working there, will really enable us to drive our leadership in this space."
Among the services that Vantage will be offering are strategy enablement, contract recovery and security-as-a-service.
