Lenovo woos MSPs with first-ever dedicated programme
Vendor promises cloud and managed services providers competitive prices and 'unique' finance plans
Lenovo has said the recent integration of the IBM server business inspired it to launch its first-ever partner programme for cloud and managed services providers.
The Lenovo Service Provider Programme (SPP) comes into effect immediately and will be available for managed services- and cloud-focused partners.
The vendor claims the new scheme will offer resellers a streamlined channel engagement process and a choice of technology from a large and diverse portfolio of products.
The programme will offer partners unique financing options in the form of its Kickstart programme which allows service providers to defer payments for up to 120 days. On top of this, the new Rent and Grow section of the SPP "mirrors IT payments to usage" and the Trade-In Programme allows customers to cash in on their current kit as they upgrade.
Marketing funds are also available as part of the new SPP as well as special financial incentives on certain Enterprise Solutions Services, Lenovo said.
Wilfredo Sotolongo, vice president Enterprise Business Group at Lenovo EMEA, said:
"Managed services spending is expected to triple in the next few years, and with the recent integration of the IBM System x portfolio, Lenovo is well positioned to offer beneficial programmes to new and existing providers.
"This new programme will provide approved service providers with a simple, efficient and profitable means to deliver high-value services to customers."
