SanDisk unveils new programme for VARs to cash in on flash
Flash vendor launches Enterprise Reseller Partner Programme
Flash vendor SanDisk has launched a new partner programme which it claims will help its global channel partners make the most of the booming flash market.
The new Enterprise Reseller Partner Programme (ERPP) – which is available to the vendor's global partner base – is an offshoot of its worldwide Premier Partner Programme which was launched in 2013 and is home to more than 110 resellers.
A range of technology such as SanDisk's CloudSpeed solid state drives and FlashSoft software is available on the new programme, which the vendor claims will help the channel nurture new business and close deals faster.
At the start of this year, analyst IDC said the EMEA flash market is set for big things and predicted that by the end of this year, the market's value will reach $2.9bn (£1.92bn).
SanDisk's vice president of worldwide business channel sales Ken Oberman said the new programme will help its channel partners take advantage of the trend.
"Flash technology is transforming the datacentre by delivering better performance and increasing operational efficiencies," he said.
"Our channel partners play a critical role in bringing SanDisk's trusted enterprise storage solutions to a range of customer environments. This programme is part of SanDisk's strategic effort to provide resellers with a host of resources to help expand their opportunities."
