VAR Total doubles sales in two years
Top line expands past £44m following organic growth drive at Kettering-based reseller
VAR Total Computer Networks (TCN) is poised to join the £50m turnover club after more than doubling turnover in the past two years.
The Kettering-based outfit saw turnover for the 12 months to 31 December 2014 power up 44 per cent to £44.1m, its seventh consecutive year of growth and more than double its 2012 tally of £20.3m.
Operating profit rose by 50 per cent to £1.56m during a year in which TCN ramped up its organic growth.
"2014 saw some significant new contract wins, the opening of a London office plus a sizeable increase in the sales team and I think our turnover shows that we've created an environment in which good salespeople can really flourish," said TCN's joint managing director Aidan Groom.
"Added to that, we've brought some highly skilled consultants into the business, enabling us to offer key technology services in-house."
Groom said that TCN, which now has four offices, is gunning for more than £50m sales this year.
"We have already opened a new office in Glasgow and are looking to expand our sales team nationally," he said. "Our service capabilities will continue to grow and we plan to expand service delivery internationally."
