EssentialNET and Nutanix team up to provide specialist lingerie retailer Bravissimo with hyper-converged infrastructure

IT consultancy EssentialNET has today announced a partnership with Nutanix to provide hyper-converged infrastructure to lingerie retailer Bravissimo.

Under the deal, Nutanix will provide its Virtual Computing Platform to the specialist lingerie company.

Surrey-based EssentialNET specialises in virtualisation and software-defined infrastructure, and speaking about the deal, managing director Kevin Penn said Nutanix was ideal for Bravissimo.

"We recognised that Nutanix was the perfect fit for Bravissimo, working closely with them from design through to deployment," Penn said.

Ian Murphy, Bravissimo's IT manager, said initially traditional servers and SAN storage were considered, but in the end Bravissimo decided to go with Nutanix.

"We looked closely at both approaches, and although blown away by what Nutanix had to offer, initially we thought it was out of our reach. However, after further discussions we realised there was a lot of extra value to be gained from the Nutanix platform," Murphy said.
