NetApp's Rawden leaves channel role
Ex-EMEA partner director moves to senior sales role
NetApp's Pete Rawden has left his channel-facing role at the firm as he "steps up" to form part of its northern EMEA leadership team.
NetApp veteran Rawden (pictured) started working at the storage firm in 2000 and has held a number of channel and partner-focused roles since then. Most recently he was the company's senior director for partners and MSB [medium-sized and small businesses] for northern EMEA.
But from this month onwards, Rawden takes on the role of senior director for sales strategy and execution for northern EMEA. In the new role, he will report directly to Dave Allen, NetApp's general manager for the region.
In a statement, NetApp said there will be no direct replacement for Rawden's role but said the channel will still have strong leadership.
"Pete Rawden will step up to pursue new opportunities as part of NetApp's Northern EMEA Leadership team reporting to Dave Allen," the firm said. "The channel team continues to report into Elliot Howard, NetApp country manager UK and Ireland."
