Centrify eyes EMEA channel push with new boss
New EMEA channel director Matt Pearson described as 'safe pair of hands' by the vendor
Centrify has said its newly appointed EMEA partner boss is a "safe pair of hands" as it talks up the signing amid a local channel push.
Matt Pearson will be the identity and access-management vendor's new EMEA channel director.
Pearson joins Centrify from security products manufacturer PKWare, where he was vice president for EMEA. In total he has worked for 18 years in the technology sector, including in positions at distributor Azlan and IP-management vendor BlueCat Networks.
Centrify said in his new position, Pearson will "define the company's EMEA channel strategy". He will focus on the UK and Ireland, but will oversee the entire channel operation across EMEA.
The vendor also announced the appointment of Sandra Hilt as its channel account manager. Hilt will be based in Germany, and will be charged with taking on new partners across the DACH region and in eastern Europe.
Hilt joins Centrify from HP, where she was senior channel sales manager in the DACH region for its enterprise security division. She has worked in security for the past 15 years, including roles at Websense and Stonesoft.
Darren Goss, EMEA director of Centrify, said: "For partner relationships to be mutually successful and rewarding, it is important that sales teams and partners are properly aligned. Matt and Sandra's appointments will provide Centrify with additional dedicated resources to seed the right projects with the right partners and, importantly, help [them] do business."
"Not only will this enable our partners to enjoy the many revenue and margin opportunities available through partnering with Centrify, but it will help ensure that our customers have a safe pair of hands to partner with, thereby ensuring successful implementations of our technology."
