Distributor expands partnership to cover entire portfolio

Tech Data’s Azlan has announced that its European partnership with Dell has been extended and expanded to now cover the vendor’s full portfolio.

The distributor’s enterprise business has now been handed access Dell’s complete range of server, storage, networking, software and services solutions will be available to UK resellers via Azlan.

To support the updated partnership, Azlan is making investing into its business, including the appointment of a dedicated Dell business development manager for each product line, plus introducing 25 trained internal sales specialists.

A lead generation team has also been implemented to assist with the driving of new business across the Dell Enterprise range.

The products will be showcased at Tech Data’s Heathrow business solution centre, which opened up just weeks ago.

Rob Tomlin, director of enterprise at Tech Data Azlan, said: “From day one we will be the best-equipped distribution partner for Dell Enterprise solutions in the UK, with more people and resources available to help partners maximise their potential.”

Tomlin added that Azlan has already been named a Dell Configuration Centre.

“That means Azlan partners will be able to benefit from both the value-added and volume capabilities of our business and deliver higher levels of service to their customers on Dell Enterprise solutions," he said.

In other Dell news, the vendor has just unveiled its Internet of Things unit, designed to cut time, cost and risks of building IoT applications.
