TIG founder Maurice moves on
Documents filed with Companies House show Adam Maurice's directorship ended last week
Adam Maurice, founder of The Internet Group Limited (TIG), has left the managed services provider, CRN understands.
Documents filed with Companies House show that as of last Tuesday, Maurice's directorship and role as secretary of the London firm came to an end.
Maurice (pictured) was not available to comment and neither was TIG.
He founded TIG in 2001 and was its managing director until 2013, when a trio of other channel faces joined forces with him to buy the firm and created TIG Holdings Limited.
Maurice then became chief operating officer and was joined in the senior management team by Eurodata founder Des Lekerman – who led the buyout – ex-Eurodata sales director George Georgiou and former Ultima consulting chief Mark Moss. All four held stakes in the business following the transaction.
At the time, the quartet said growth was a key priority as well as building its own managed cloud platform.
