Cloudamour boasts 'pinnacle' contract win
Microsoft partner migrates BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, to Office 365
Microsoft partner Cloudamour has hailed a recent contract win with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT as a "pinnacle" for the company which will "usher in a new era".
The BCS is a UK organisation for IT professionals which has about 75,000 members. The business turned to Cloudamour to support its "strategically important" transition to Office 365 from its traditional on-premise set-up.
The UK reseller is Microsoft's reigning cloud partner of the year, which BCS' director of business technology Carl Harris said was a driving factor in the selection process.
"We selected Cloudamour for our Office 365 integration not just because they are the current Microsoft worldwide cloud partner of the year, but for the thorough way in which they assessed our requirements and their complete buy-in to the mobile/cloud philosophy," he said.
"Cloudamour identified significant savings for our 250-plus user base and offered us a new, collaborative way of working. The changes are enabling us to revise our old business practices and complement our goal of increased availability via the cloud."
Cloudamour chief executive Mitchell Feldman (pictured) said the contract win is a milestone for his company.
"Winning the business for the BCS is a pinnacle moment for Cloudamour," he said. "We are partnering with one of the most prestigious global IT organisations. But more than that, we are working with an organisation that just gets the cloud and wants to leverage every ounce of its capabilities.
"The project tops off a genuinely significant 12 months for Cloudamour. We believe this ushers in a new era for Cloudamour and for BCS."
