Nimans cuts NOC ribbon

Distributor unveils new network services operations centre and a bespoke partner portal

Nimans has opened the doors to its brand-spanking new Network Services Operations Centre (NOC) which it claims will deliver 'unrivalled' service levels to its reseller base.

Six large screens stream live information to the Nimans' team, providing real-time updates on news events that could cause outages or disruption, a snapshot of faults and service tickets, network monitoring of resellers' data circuits and and overview of work queues and order volume information.

Mark Curtis-Wood, head of network services at Nimans, said: "“Significant investment means we can provide a proactive monitoring service to our resellers, that will lead to real-time updates on any faults, outages and major incidents."

The NOC will work alongside Nimans' interactive partner portal The Hub, which offers resellers order provisioning and billing capabilities as well as up-to-date product information.

Curtis-Wood added: “After many months of development and testing, The Hub has gone live, giving resellers the ability to place and track orders and manage quotes. It’s another example of how we continue to innovate our whole proposition and put resellers firmly in control of their own destiny

“Resellers will experience a more interactive and seamless way of accessing products and services, improving the way they manage and bill their customers.”
