Synaxon gears up for TrustATec launch in UK
After success in Germany, buying and services group is hoping to launch new 'lead guarantee' service in either Q4 or early next year
Channel services group Synaxon is planning to launch a brand new service towards the end of the year that it claims will guarantee customer leads to signed-up members.
The TrustATec service will direct end-user customers needing break-fix services to IT suppliers that are paid-up members of the initiative.
Synaxon plans to divide the UK into different areas which are "owned" exclusively by the reseller, and invests in ensuring the company appears top in Google rankings and adwords, and is fully SEO-optimised.
It is encouraging resellers to "reserve" geographical areas as soon as possible, which will be held until the scheme is officially launched.
Speaking at the firm’s annual conference in Northamptonshire today, Derek Jones, managing director of Synaxon UK, said: “We have services such as Checkatrade.com over here for plumbers, electricians etc, which is basically a Yellow Pages-style service where price still has to be negotiated with the customer, but with TrustATec, the price will already be agreed, and customers will know what they are getting.
“It will lead to more sales and obviously services revenue. It is going to raise your local business profile and you will have more customers coming to you,” he said.
The system has proved successful in Synaxon’s home territory of Germany, with more than 230 partners signed up across the country, sharing 15,000 leads each month through its PC Spezialist platform.
Once signed up, UK reseller partners will be given branding such as flags and window banners, he explained. A straw poll in the room showed there was an appetite for the service already.
To join, resellers will be asked to pay a £150 one-off connection fee, and then a £50 a month subscription.
“We invest that money into our adwords campaigns and making sure that locally, that partner will appear top of the list in Google search rankings. We are very excited about the service and the possibilities,” said Jones.
