Annodata brothers get new brief as CEO appointed

Andrew and Tim Harman to shift focus from 'nitty gritty' of running VAR to focus on its strategic direction, as Rod Tonna-Barthet steps into new CEO role

Annodata has installed a new chief executive and group sales director as founders Andrew Harman and Tim Harman move back from the nitty gritty of running the print and infrastructure VAR.

The siblings will remain as co-managing directors of the Hertfordshire-based firm but will now shift their focus from the day-to-day running of the business to shaping its strategic direction as it guns for £100m turnover.

Stepping into the newly created role of CEO is Rod Tonna-Barthet (pictured). His previous post of group sales director will be filled by Geoff Slaughter, a newcomer to Annodata who previously held various management roles at print vendor Canon.

Founded in 1988, print specialist Annodata is now an £80m-turnover firm following its recent acquisition of infrastructure VAR Keltec. Its vendor partners include O2, Avaya, Canon, Kyocera, HP, Mitel and Ricoh.

"The past financial year has been marked by a number of big changes within the company, not least the acquisitions of Keltec and STS," said Annodata chairman Martin St Quinton.

"These changes have presented us with a significant opportunity to grow the business, but to do that in a way that is sustainable, it's critical that we have the right leadership and management team in place. During his time with the company, Rod has demonstrated very clearly his commitment to the company and his business acumen. I therefore have no doubt that as newly appointed CEO, he will lead Annodata's continued success."

Andrew and Tim Harman (pictured, right) will now focus their efforts on "overseeing the corporate strategy, identifying acquisition targets and new growth opportunities", the firm said.
