Tufin yanks in former Check Point sales boss
Security vendor enlists 'veteran industry specialist' Kevin Maloney to lead global sales and channel strategy
A former sales boss at Check Point and IBM has rocked up at security vendor Tufin to spearhead its global sales and channel efforts.
"Veteran industry specialist" Kevin Maloney (pictured) has joined the Israel-headquartered security policy orchestration vendor as senior vice president of global sales, a post that will seem him boss not only the sales team but also channel strategy.
He has previously served stints as vice president of sales at Check Point and vice president of sales, Software Group at IBM.
"We are thrilled to have Kevin join our executive management team at Tufin," said Tufin chief executive Ruvi Kitov.
"His past success in managing worldwide teams in numerous high-growth technology environments will be truly instrumental to our operations moving forward. I am confident in his ability to lead our sales organisation and maintain our leadership position in the security orchestration market."
Maloney, who joins from the role of executive vice president of worldwide sales at Easylink Services, added: "I'm very excited to join the market leader in security policy orchestration with over 1,500 enterprise customers globally. Enterprise networks are growing more and more complex, and I look forward to working with and helping our customers to orchestrate their network security policies across both hybrid cloud and physical environments."
