Maintel's growth spurt continues
Comms VAR Maintel sees its revenues jump by 20 per cent for first half of 2015
Comms VAR Maintel has seen its revenues jump for its first half of 2015, with its numbers boosted by growth in network services.
For the first half of 2015 ending 30 June, Maintel's adjusted profit before tax was £3.3m, up 16 per cent year on year, on revenues of £24.8m, which were up 20 per cent over the same period.
The growth in sales follows Maintel's "transformational" 2014, which saw its revenues grow by 35 per cent to £41.9m, according to a company statement.
Eddie Buxton, CEO of Maintel, said: "After another successful period, we have never been better placed; with a broader range of services and skills we have the ability to manage highly technical transformation projects for customers."
"Our new sales pipeline continues to grow and being appointed as an approved supplier on the new public sector network services framework agreement offers us the opportunity to tender for business not previously available to us."
Within its latest results, network services revenues increased by 24 per cent, and the company claimed this "will continue to grow as focus moves away from the declining legacy calls and lines services".
