Ricoh rolls out recruitment service for UK partners
Tech company will provide training and development to partners new starters
Ricoh has announced a new recruitment service for its UK channel partners, offering them a platform to recruit new staff onto a year-long support programme.
The recruitment service will be used to find skilled staff of all levels – from entry to director – and is complemented by an intensive induction and training schedule covering subjects such as solutions sales and product training. The year-long support programme provided by the company will consist of regular one-to-one sessions, performance reviews and opportunities to develop within the partner's business.
The channel recruitment service is currently targeting potential candidates from a sales background, but Ricoh – which acquired information management consultancy firm Ridgian in May to bolster its IT services division – says it has plans to branch out into other IT services roles in the future.
The Japanese print vendor will have a dedicated partner sales recruitment manager on hand to help with account managing new staff, ensuring they are not just settling in, but delivering results in their new position.
Samantha Bradbury, business generation manager within Ricoh UK’s partner channel, said: “Ricoh is a company that prides itself on training and retaining the best talent, which is integral for responsible business growth.
“We are delighted to share our expertise and offer this new recruitment service, to help our partners attract the best talent for future growth."
She added: "Plans are already in place to expand this service in the year ahead to help our partners secure the best employees who are fully trained and able to hit the ground running once they start.”
