Exertis extends Asia reach with bigger China base
Investment in Chinese offices aim to give UK brands a better route to market in the region
Exertis has opened newly expanded offices in Shenzhen, China to strengthen its global presence and offer partners better access to the Asian market.
The distributor says it will use the knowledge of the market, which it has developed since opening its China operation in 2006, to assist UK brands in tailoring and building their solutions to meeting the Asian market’s needs.
Based at the Honglong Century Plaza, Shenzhen – connecting Hong Kong to mainland China – the office will be Exertis’ Centre of Excellence.
The centre will be used as a platform for procurement, production management, logistics, transport management and quality assurance services for the area, according to Exertis.
To date, its Shenzhen base has managed more than £127m worth of products.
Niall Ennis, managing director of Exertis, said: “Exertis in China has gone from strength to strength since establishing a presence there in 2006.
“The additional investment we are making there will allow us to continue to grow strongly, supporting the supply chain demands of our global technology customers by taking advantage of our knowledge and expertise to deliver tailored solutions.”
