Azzurri unveils network operations centre in Burnley
New facility to boost customer experience, claims comms VAR
Comms VAR Azzurri Communications has launched a network operations centre (NOC) in Burnley to provide a "superior level of service and support to Azzurri's customers".
The new facility – which will house 76 staff – will be used to monitor the firm's mobile and fixed networks, as well as contact centres and unified communications, Azzurri said.
The Aruba, Avaya and Cisco partner claimed the ability to look at customers' complete solutions will let it "manage applications and devices on a customer's network for optimum uptime, security and efficiency", a company statement said.
Chris Jagusz, Azzurri's CEO, said: "The new network operations centre highlights the investment we make in going beyond customer expectations.
"Our collaborative approach to developing managed services means that we can mitigate the impact of component failures, specific to each customer's needs."
This push to provide an improved level of customer support is particularly aimed at Azzurri's ICON Services – enterprise communications from its private cloud – the Weybridge-based firm said.
News of the new facility comes after Azzurri recently downsized, cutting its offices from nine to six, Jagusz told CRN in February.
