SCC among resellers picked to overhaul a housing association's IT

SCC is one of five resellers chosen by a housing association to overhaul its IT department with new kit.

South-Eastern housing group Amicus Horizon provides homes and services to communities across London, Kent and Sussex and manages about 28,000 houses.

The organisation put a tender out for a range of hardware, software and professional services and settled on a five-strong group of resellers: SCC, JCom, Pacific Computers, Xuper and Novosco.

The deal will be worth £4m in total.

The partner quintet were chosen mainly because of the cost of their offering, but their professional services proposal was also among the criteria considered.
