Dolman leaves VMware for Splunk
Former channel boss to head up Splunk's UK channel
VMware's Ed Dolman has left the vendor after five years, moving to big data firm Splunk to lead its channel efforts.
Dolman (pictured) joined VMware in 2010 and was its UK channel boss until March 2014, when he moved to become its enterprise sales director. He previously held roles at Symantec and Philips.
According to his LinkedIn page, Dolman moved this month to Splunk to become its senior director of EMEA partners.
Splunk is a US big data firm which claims to make machine data "accessible, usable and valuable".
In a statement, VMware said: "We thank Ed for his time at VMware and wish him well for the future."
