VARs flock to Synaxon TrustATec scheme
Dealer services group now in final stages of lead guarantee service launch that it first unveiled over the summer
More than 30 resellers and retailers have already signed up to Synaxon’s lead guarantee scheme before it is officially launched in December.
Back in June, at the Synaxon annual conference in Northamptonshire, the scheme was first mooted, and has been running in Germany for the past four years, generating around 60 leads per partner, per month for every participating reseller.
The plan is to divide the UK into different areas which are ‘owned’ exclusively by the reseller, and ensure they appear top in Google rankings and adwords, and is fully SEO-optimised.
Customers search for key phrases such as ‘computer repairs’ and then go through to the TrustATec website, where they select from a menu of fixed-price services such as PC repair, WiFi set up, virus removal and others.
Synaxon claims that in Germany, 75 per cent of end user enquiries result in additional service business for members and the fact that a fixed cost for each service is published, makes the scheme stand out from similar initiatives such as Checkatrade or Trustatrader.
The organisation has also reduced registration from £250 down to £150 for the first 50 reseller registrations. Monthly fees are set at £50.
Derek Jones, managing director of Synaxon UK, said the scheme was officially set to be unveiled in the next six weeks.
“We are very excited about the launch and confident of success. We are guaranteeing increased revenue for independent dealers from increased technology repairs and we aim to hit the ground running with 50 participating TrustATec repair centres," he said.
“Although we have most of the UK covered now, there are still some gaps and we’d like to fill as many as possible before we actually launch the programme. Resellers and Retailers still have time to join the programme at a reduced rate and become part of the unique TrustATec UK network by reserving their own exclusive business area of the UK. Unfortunately, we will very quickly fill most available geographic regions, so we do anticipate having to disappoint some resellers if their area has already been registered.”
