Centerprise International tightens links with Xplore

Distributor expands range of offerings to cover vendor's full range of rugged tablet computers

Rugged tablet PC manufacturer Xplore Technologies has deepened its relationship with Centerprise International as it looks to grab more market share in Europe.

Adding to its existing portfolio of Xplore tablets, Centerprise is set to carry to Motion C5m, R12, CL920 and F5m as a result of the deal, and is banking on heavy take up in the enterprise mobility space.

Mark Holleran, chief operating officer at Xplore, said: “This extension of the relationship with Centerprise is yet another validation of our acquisition of the Motion product line, and our aggressive strategy to support the enterprise mobility market across Europe.

“Because we continue to develop the specialised units necessary for vital vertical markets such as healthcare or field service, the breadth of the Xplore portfolio will enable Centerprise to specify hardware that is most suited to the end user workflow, be it healthcare, field service, construction or emergency services.”

Rafi Razzak, chief executive of Centerprise, said: “We have built our reputation on offering market-leading technology and first class service to large scale IT projects within the business, defence, education, and government sectors and our partnership with Xplore has been a vital part of that.

He added: “As the leading developer of rugged tablet PCs, Xplore is a natural choice of partner as we look to expand into new markets. For example, the Motion C5m by Xplore will deliver durability and functionality for our partners and end users in healthcare, helping us to maintain this reputation. Elsewhere the improved design of the Motion R12 will drive opportunities in field sales and service industries. We now have a comprehensive coverage of all industries looking to exploit enterprise mobility.”
