Ingram unlocks Icy Box in the UK

Distribution giant builds on existing relationship with RaidSonic by bringing its storage and multimedia products to market

Ingram Micro has deepened its existing relationship with RaidSonic by widening its geographical partnership to cover the UK market.

Under the deal, the distributor will supply RaidSonic’s Icy Box range of storage and multimedia peripheral products in the UK, adding to existing partnerships in Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.

Mike Farrah, volume distribution director at Ingram, said: “Scaling our purchasing and stock-holding power will enable RaidSonic to further secure its foothold in both B2B and B2C markets and accelerate growth by tapping into our large customer breadth across the channel.

“Meanwhile, our stock availability and competitive pricing capabilities create a robust proposition for our reseller partners. Customers will have access to a wide range of quality and high-margin products including internal and external enclosures, adaptors, docking stations and audio solutions including speakers, headphones and music streaming devices, all available on a two-to-three-day turnaround from our UK and European warehouses.

“We believe these capabilities position Ingram Micro as the distributor of choice for Icy Box products in the UK and look forward to working with RaidSonic to help push this product range further into the UK market,” he added.

Mee Ling Liew, key account manager at RaidSonic, added: “We are certain [Ingram's] customers will find solutions for their demands and requirements with competitive prices in order to develop their businesses in UK.”
