Entatech unveils cloud business boss
Paul Lloyd appointed to head up distributor's white-label cloud offering, Entacloud
Entatech is gearing up for its cloud assault as it names channel veteran Paul Lloyd as the new boss of its Entacloud business.
Lloyd (pictured) has worked in the channel for more than 25 years, with his most recent posts including sales director of infrastructure and datacentre services provider Comtec Enterprises, and sales and marketing director of MSP Keltec.
According to the distributor, Entacloud, which is set for launch in 2016, is its first move into the world of cloud-based services, and will offer resellers a one-stop shop for cloud, cloud management, infrastructure, business applications, security, backup and storage-as-a-service, offering a range of dedicated, managed, private and hybrid cloud services.
Lloyd’s remit will be to help launch the venture and work closely with Entatech’s partner base to evolve their businesses.
Speaking of his appointment, Lloyd said: “There is a great deal of confusion in the market and it is difficult for MSPs to know where to go, or what to do. Entacloud offers a one-stop shop for cloud services, based on a simple and intuitive interface.
“This is a significant move forwards and Entacloud will offer a comprehensive range of business support services to aid resellers as they make this business transition.”
Dave Stevinson, managing director of Entatech, said: “Paul [Lloyd] is a splendid ambassador for the Entacloud both internally and externally.”
