Cloud Telephones goes for the double with Gamma

VoIP and connectivity services specialist looking to double number of partners it works with next year through partnership with Gamma Telecom

Specialist VoIP and connectivity services provider Cloud Telephones is aiming to double the number of partners it works with in the UK next year.

The firm, which was launched earlier this year, and which boasts former Northamber chief Henry Matthews as its chairman, already works with 70 partners, and is keen to bring more on board to cope with demand.

It claims it has seen monthly income from voice services subscriptions grow by more than 200 per cent, with half of that going to the reseller partners.

John Carter, managing director of Cloud Telephones, said: “The demand is there – we just need more resellers to get involved. Most customers understand hosted voice well enough now and we take all the hassle away from the reseller, so they don’t need to worry about the complexity of getting customers set-up. We generate the original leads, manage all the provisioning and provide support. We have managed thousands of installations already, so the customer gets a great experience and all the reseller needs to do is go out and sell.”

To get the volume of partners it needs, the firm is planning a reseller recruitment event next year in partnership with its primary hosted VoIP partner Gamma Telecom.

David Rushton, business development manager for UC at Gamma, said: “Cloud Telephones has paved the way for what we believe and expect will be a further and very considerable increase in volume in 2016. Selling VoIP services will deliver long-term rewards for reseller businesses and Cloud Telephones really does make it easy for its partners to find opportunities and manage new customers.”
