Vickerage replaces his father to run Imago ScanSource

James Vickerage becomes VP of UK and Ireland at video and audio distributor

Distributor Imago ScanSource has bumped up James Vickerage (pictured) to its vice president for UK and Ireland post.

The audio-visual player, created following ScanSource's acquisition of Imago in 2014, was previously run by James' father Ian Vickerage, who became European president of ScanSource Communications in August.

In his new position, [James] Vickerage is charged with managing the operations of Imago ScanSource in the UK and Ireland and finding new vendor partners.

Vickerage has been at Imago since 1997, holding positions such as sales manager and head of marketing. He was most recently head of northern EMEA for five years.

Vickerage said his promotion comes at a key point for the company.

"We are at a most exciting point in our development having seen the emergence of a new business grow from the ScanSource acquisition a year ago," he said. "This means that there will be much opportunity as well as key challenges ahead, and I am delighted and proud to be leading Imago ScanSource as we continue to expand our UK and Ireland business."
