NetApp veteran Allen heads for the exit

Dave Allen leaves after 11 years at storage vendor

NetApp's northern EMEA boss Dave Allen is leaving the company after 11 years.

Allen (pictured) is currently serving as vice president of northern EMEA and has been in the job for more almost four years. He joined the storage vendor in 2004 and has held a number of roles in that time including sales director and managing director.

CRN understands Allen is on his way to Palo Alto, although he, NetApp and Palo Alto were not available to confirm this.

In a statement sent to CRN, NetApp thanked Allen for his contributions and wished him well.

While the vendor finds a replacement for Allen, its head of strategy Gos Hein van de Wouw will assume leadership for northern EMEA.

Allen was not immediately available to comment.
