Steljes salesman crowned X Factor runner-up
One half of Reggie N Bollie duo used to be sales support exec at Bagshot-based audio visual distributor
One half of X Factor runner-up act Reggie N Bollie used to work at distributor Steljes.
Reggie N Bollie, who were mentored by Cheryl Fernandez Versini, were popular throughout the competition but lost out to Louisa Johnson in last night's live final.
Steljes confirmed to CRN that Reggie used to be a sales support executive at the firm.
Throughout the competition, Steljes has tweeted support for the Ghana-born star.
In the run-up to the live final, the finalists had a chance to visit their home towns, in which some went back to their family homes and workplaces. Reggie, who lives in Farnborough, went back to visit the Bagshot-based distie.
The Reggie N Bollie Twitter account posted this:
It appears that Steljes were well prepared for the pair's visit and prepared a cake in their honour.
A representative for Steljes was not sure if Reggie plans to return to the firm after his act failed to clinch the top spot.
"We've not heard from him," said the representative.
X Factor finalists which did not go on the win the show have a history of doing well, with One Direction acting a prime example, alongside last year's second-place singer Fleur East and 2009's runner up Olly Murs, who co-presented this year's show.
