Cliff Fox pops up at Pure Data Solutions
Former SICL man started new gig this week
IT veteran Cliff Fox has joined reseller Pure Data Solutions to create a group structure as the firm pursues its acquisition strategy.
Fox (pictured) joined the Leeds-based reseller at the start of the week as group chief operating officer. He joined from NG Bailey, where he was director of ICT for just over a year. Prior to that he spent eight years as managing director of SICL.
Pure Data Solutions was established in 2007 and grew from nothing to £20m turnover last year, Fox said.
In the summer of 2014, the company snapped up rival firm Servatech for an undisclosed sum.
Fox said the buy will likely be the first of many and that his job is to create a group structure.
"There are a couple [of potential acquisitions] now which look quite likely," he said.
"Quite a lot of work is going on in that area. Part of what I am doing is creating a group structure - so ultimately, the commercial and technical aspects of it. For me, it's a different and interesting challenge and I think it is going to be good."
