Exertis gets smart with new vendor signings
Distributor inks deals with trio of smart technology vendors
Exertis claims it has amassed the "strongest" smart technology portfolio of any distributor after signing a trio of new brands in the space.
Bluetooth tracking device specialist Guardzilla; WiFi home security video and alarm system vendor Tile; and Momit, which makes smart thermostats, have been unveiled as the broadliner's three latest smart technologies allies.
Momit, which is an exclusive signing, claims it can save users 20 per cent on energy costs.
Exertis said the triumvirate of players complement its "already extensive portfolio" in smart technology, adding that the next couple of months will see it launch further new vendors and products in the areas of security, energy control and system automation.
"We have built the strongest line-up of market-leading vendors, some of which are exclusive to Exertis, in the smart technology category across sectors that are creating consumer and business demand," said Rod Slater, head of smart technology at Exertis.
"Our portfolio in security, environmental control, system automation, home entertainment and wearables provides resellers and retailers with a wide choice of incredibly innovative, high-quality products that are not only desirable but also increase efficiency and add value for users in today's connected world."
