Plea date delayed for Quadsys directors

MD Paul Cox and four other Quadsys employees charged with fraud last year

The plea date for a case involving the directors of VAR Quadsys has been delayed it was announced today.

In August the owner and managing director of Quadsys, Paul Cox was charged with fraud along with Alistair Barnard, Jon Townsend, Steve Davies and Paul Streeter who have all worked at the VAR.

The five individuals were released on bail in the summer and were due to appear at Oxford Crown Court today to give their pleas.

However the pleas were not given and were rescheduled for 17 March because the defence were not ready and asked for it to be adjourned, a representative from the court confirmed to CRN.

Oxfordshire-based Quadsys counts Sophos, Dell and HP among its vendor partners.

The Thames Valley Police (TVP) said it arrested five men last March from a property at Danebrook Court, Langford Lane, Kidlington - the same address as Quadsys' office.
