Ebuyer gives SMB customers new lease of life
E-tailer teams up with ShireLeasing
Ebuyer.com has begun offering its SMB customers leasing as part of a wider push into the business market.
The e-tailer has teamed up with ShireLeasing to offer leasing to all SMB customers who order more than £1,500 worth of goods.
Lease decisions are made in just 60 seconds and the lease terms will last for two, three or five years, Ebuyer said.
Amber Smith, sales manager at Ebuyer.com, said the service would allow customers to upgrade equipment without having to make a large capital outlay.
"The Ebuyer.com SMB customer base has been growing at a rapid rate for the last two years and we wanted to capitalise on that upsurge in businesses," she said.
"We wanted to give our customers a way to grow their IT infrastructure as quickly as their business, without hurting their cashflow."
Founded in 1999, Ebuyer.com claims to process more than 1.3 million orders a day.
Last summer it announced it was to return to its roots in Sheffield by opening a new office in the city's Arena Court dedicated to SMB sales and business solutions, although these plans are currently in limbo after the building it had in place fell through.
