Meg Whitman drops in on Kelway
HPE boss holds customer Q&A session at Kelway's London base
Kelway boss Phil Doye has spoken of his "excellent morning" after Hewlett Packard Enterprise boss Meg Whitman popped into his firm's office.
The reseller hosted Whitman for a breakfast briefing for customers this morning at its London offices. The HPE boss delivered a "state of the nation" address and gave her view on her firm's partnership with Kelway and its parent company CDW.
Kelway's managing director Dan Laws said HPE has thrown its support behind its firm as it integrates with US firm CDW, which acquired Kelway in full last year.
"Everyone is excited that Meg has been able to take the time to come to our London HQ," he said. "For both our staff and clients it provides an opportunity to gain an insight into Hewlett Packard Enterprise's strategy that wouldn't have otherwise been possible.
"As we move closer to our integration with CDW, Meg and Hewlett Packard Enterprise have been key in supporting us in building a strategy to best serve our mutual customers."
Phil Doye added: "It was exciting to host Meg Whitman, and some of our most valued customers, for a breakfast briefing in our London office this morning. It was great to get a strategic update on Hewlett Packard Enterprise, alongside some very helpful market insight.
"The Q&A was a rare opportunity for our customers to address a range of topics that are relevant to their businesses directly with Meg. An excellent morning all round!"
