Tech Data unveils smartphone salary sacrifice scheme
Programme will help reseller sales staff 'develop real enthusiasm' for smartphones, says distributor
Tech Data is aiming to help resellers generate savings for clients with the launch of a smartphone salary sacrifice scheme.
Phonescheme enables employees to spread the cost and save up to 42 per cent off the RRP of new handsets, according to the distributor.
The programme, which also allows firms to shave up to 13.8 per cent off their employer National Insurance contributions, comes courtesy of Tech Data Mobile's partnership with Grass Roots.
Grass Roots already provides Computingscheme, the distributor said, adding that resellers can tune into a webseminar tomorrow to find out how to "excite" employees with the scheme.
Simon Smale, director of business development and services at Tech Data Mobile, said: "The Grass Roots Phonescheme is a great idea and it delivers benefits in many ways.
"As well as giving both employees and employers the opportunity to save money, it can help sales staff to develop a real enthusiasm for products that will help them convey the benefits to their own customers and sell more smartphones."
